Ghana is ready to host Africa – Samson Dean revealed

The head of transport committee of the local organising committee (LOC) of the 13th African Games extended official invitation to journalists from all the media houses in Ghana to embark on a Transport stimulation exercise .

Speaking to the purpose of this exercise, the head of the transport committee of the LOC , Mr Samson Dean expressed that the exercise is to create awareness to the public ahead of the upcoming African Games as well as indicating the various routes to the games villages.

” The main reasons for this exercise are to create awareness to the public of the 13th African Games, show the routes to the game village and the other venues, and indicate their readiness to host Africa here in Ghana”.

The exercise started from University of Ghana – Legon through Accra Sports Stadium, Bukom Sports Arena to Borteyman

Ghana is prepared to host about 52 African countries for various sporting disciplines in the maiden edition of the 13th African Games.

The 13th African Games stars on 5th March 2024 and venues includes Accra Sports Stadium, Cape Coast Stadium, University of Ghana Stadium and Borteyman sports complex.
