Member of Parliament for Tamale North constituency in the Norther region, Hon Alhassan Suhiyini has indicated that, the flagbearer of the ruling party Dr Mahamudu Bawumia sounded more like an independent candidate while presenting his vision to Ghanaians.
According to him, the leader is important but there is a reason our forefathers say “wisdom does not recite in one man’s head”, therefore, the Vice President should have thought otherwise before saying what he said to Ghanaians.
He said at a point he started asking himself if Dr Mahamudu Bawumia was presenting NPP’s manifesto.
Commenting on the visions that was presented earlier by Dr Bawumia, Suhuyini said the way the so-called vision of Dr Bawumia contradicted the policies of the government that he is part, he won’t be surprise if the NPP’s manifesto also contradicts the policies of their flagbearer.
The legislature indicated that, no wonder Dr Bawumia got his party card in 2016 because he didn’t sound like a party member. Again, he said he is not surprising why Alan Kyerematen and others have decided to leave the party.
