The former Ghana Ambassador to United Kingdom Hon. Emmanuel Victor Smith has said traditional heads and paramount chiefs must lead by example in all their roles and engagements with head of states and any political heads to co-exist to ensure peace in all traditional areas.
Our chief’s, and traditional heads served as a custodian of their traditional areas and a visit by any political heads creates a platform to discuss issues of national concerns; since they are true representative of the citizens in the area. And they have the rights to speaks to any issues of national concerns and considered as partners in development.
Ambassador Emmanuel Victor Smith said this on Adekyee Mu Nsem on Ahotor 92.3 FM and hosted by Citizen Kofi Owusu in Accra.
Reacting to a summon from Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Council, he call for healthy relationship between politician and traditional authorities in the country.

He is of the view, its on record in all our public discourse with all our politicians to raised issues of development during campaign seasons for paramount chiefs and traditional heads to speak to developments issues affecting their areas. This he believes must not leads to any apprehension from any paramountcy to summon any chief’s for questioning. This practice must stop going forward. He said
