National Communication Team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Twum Barima Esq has called on the National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Henry Nana Boakye popularly known as Nana B to stop the hypocrisy because he cannot distance himself from the mess created by his government in the country.
According to him, National Executives especially Chairman and General Secretary of the party in power are part of cabinet and goes for meeting every week hence Nana B cannot say he is not aware of the emission tax before its implementation.
Henry Nana Boakye called on the finance minister Ken Ofori Attah last week to withdraw the current emission tax levy impose on Ghanaians
According to Nana B, they are on grounds and they know what is going on and knows taxes of such will affect the NPP party.
Reacting to this, Twum Barima said Nana B should back off because his National Chairman and General Secretary per the structure were there when cabinet took such decision hence, he should go and ask them.
He called on the National Organizer to seek intervention from the finance minister if there will be any because they have the power to overturned it.
