South African astute politician Julius Malema has indicated that, Ghana’s democracy is been threatened by corruption which is destroying the country.
He indicated that, a corruption that made sure that Ghana does not pay its international debt. That as a result, today Ghana is unable to be self-determined because everything is dictated to Ghana by the International Monetary Fund (IMF)and the World Bank.
He said the current leadership has failed to honor its obligations.
According to him, one thing Africa needs to understand is that, corruption is a threat to wonderful democracy because its eating on the moral fiber of democratic dispensation.
Speaking at A Day of Dialogue program in Accra Ghana organized by a think tank Arise Ghana, the founder and leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters in South Africa called Ghanaians never to celebrate anyone that is corrupt or seek to defend the corrupt individual irrespective of our political affiliation.
Those who are stealing from the public purse now should not forget that, they are stealing from the future that is why they are not able to pay the debt now and the future.
He called on the youth to rise up now because the debts will be inherited by them in the future.
