National Organizer of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Yaw Asani Tano has indicated that, it is clear with evidence that the election process will be difficult under the current Electoral Commission (EC).
According to the political analyst, advise was given to political parties during election year under the leadership of former chairpersons like Dr Kwadwo Afari Gyan and Mrs. Charlotte Osei but now, the advice has been channeled to the Electoral Commission itself as the referee in the game.
Speaking on the preparation towards the 2024 general elections, Mr Tano said it has never happened in anywhere as the EC declares election results five times in an election but this Jean Mensah administration did, he said.
He indicated that, no country will accept such behavior from its electoral commission because such can cause chaos in a country.
He said for a commissioner to call a political party as a threat to democracy means they’re not working for the benefit of the country
