Ghanaian s are ready to vote NPP out of power — Ibrahim Mumuni

Ghanaians are ever ready to vote in anger and hunger as a result of lack of trust and confidence in the New Patriotic Party government which is chocking the country with corruption, cronyism and mismanagement which has become the other of the day.
The call by Prof. Gyampo, is just a timely call for Ghanaians who are going through severe economic hardship as a result of bad economic policies.
The Director of Operations Adams GH Ibrahim Mumuni (BABS) said this on Siempieso Political Talk Show on Ahotor FM 92.3 hosted by Emmanuel Amartey (Alaska De Don) in Accra.

In another development, President of the University Teachers Association of Ghana, University of Ghana chapter, Prof Ransford Gyampo has stated that Labour Union will vote with hunger and anger in the 2024 polls.
He said that Labour conditions of service must be met irrespective of whoever emerges victorious in the polls.

“It must be noted that in the upcoming 2024 elections, Labour would vote with hunger and anger. Anybody who benefits from the hunger and anger votes of Labour must necessarily do something to mitigate the hunger and anger of Labour no matter how small they may be,” Prof Gyampo said.

His response follows former President John Mahama urging Ghanaians, particularly trade and labour groups, to grant him a grace period if he successfully regains power.

This request comes in response to the increased demand for improved conditions of service from these groups.

Addressing attendees at a ‘Campus Connect’ event in Hohoe, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer stressed the importance of allowing time to revive the economy before tackling specific demands.

But the senior political science lecturer at the University of Ghana highlighted some conditions that government would have to meet before the Labour Union can grant government a honeymoon period.

He emphasised that whoever assumes leadership should demonstrate leadership by example. According to him, this factor will play a crucial role in garnering support from the Labour Union.

“Leaving by example here, I am talking about the fact that you wouldn’t ask Labour to tighten their belts whilst you your appointees would be leaving in opulence as we keep seeing now,” he explained.
The Director of Operations of Adams GH Ibrahim Mumuni (BABS), is of the view that, the government policies in managing the economy was hinge on wrong polices and directions that has really destroy the economic foundation of the country. And going forward, there is a need to vote the NPP government out of office as spell out by Prof. Gyampo; Ghanaian s are really ready as a matter of urgency to free the country from wicked and crunches of inefficient government of the NPP.
