Eastern Regional Women Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Shirley Naana Osei-Ampem has criticized the President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo of been egregiously distasteful and shameful for his comments to the people of Ekumfi in the central region.
According to her, is this the country we want to leave behind for generations.
The president Nana Addo earlier indicated to chiefs and people of Ekumfi for failing to vote for NPP parliamentary candidate in 2020 and that is why he has halted all developmental projects in the area.
Reacting to this, Naana Osei-Ampen indicated that, every community irrespective of its voting pattern deserves access to basic amenities and development.
She said that would significantly contribute to the livelihood of its residents.
Speaking to Dwaboase monitored by @onokwafo Yaw Asiedu, she emphasized on the president’s deliberate attempt to insult the people of Ghana especially to areas that do not vote for the NPP.
Madam Ampem said, the current comment of the president indicated how he intentionally insulted the people of Volta region during his visit after the Akosombo dam spillage.
She called on the president to desist from his evil and bad comments because every Ghanaian pay tax irrespective of where the person is coming from
