The Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South, Samuel Atta Akyea is advocating for the establishment of an institution by the New Patriotic Party NPP to mentor the newly elected members of parliament.
Atta Akyea along with 17 other experienced MPs from the majority caucus decided not to contest in the upcoming NPP parliamentary primaries, pressing concern about the potential impact of their departure.
Atta Akyea suggest that, educating new MPs through the party initiated institution will help maintain the legislative capacity of the majority caucus in parliament.
