Political Analyst, Jonathan Asante Otchere has shared his view on the Ken Agyapong vs Asenso Boakye brouhaha in the Bantama constituency in the Ashanti region as the NPP parliamentary primaries draws nearer.
People especially NPP folks are calling on the vice president who is now the flagbearer to intervene for peace to reign because elections are near and division in the party cannot bring success
But according to the lecturer at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Mr. Asante Otchere indicated that, it will be good for the flagbearer to stay far from this issue because sometimes, it’s good to ignore ugly noises. He said the vice president will incur Kennedy Agyapong’s displeasure if he intervenes.
According to him, sanctions will not benefit the party in anyway especially to someone like Kennedy Agyapong.
He said there are setting people in the party that has impugned his integrity and therefore he is dealing with them.
“Looking at what is happening carefully, you will appreciate where Kennedy Agyapong is coming from” he said.
