Member of Parliament for Oda constituency in the Eastern region, Hon Alexander Akwasi Acquah has indicated that, the people of Ghana are not ready to accept excuses from any president in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
According to him, the key personalities in the 2024 general elections is the flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia and the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Dramani Mahama.
The legislature emphasized on the NPP candidate been the best to change things for the betterment of the country’s economy to grow.
He said Dr Bawumia understands the economy more hence the continuation of office by the NPP will make things better for the country Ghana.
Speaking to the media he called on Ghanaians to give the nod to Dr Bawumia because the NDC and John Mahama will start to give excuses after winning the elections.
John Mahama has only one term and he will give excuses to Ghanaians should he win the elections since the constitution will not allow him to run again.
