Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe, the Second Deputy Whip of the Minority Caucus in Parliament, has called on traditional leaders to resist participating in sod-cutting ceremonies organized by the Akufo-Addo government within their domains this year.
The legislator expressed skepticism, asserting that projects initiated during an election year are often deceptive, given the government’s track record of struggling to complete them.
Following an interaction with traditional leaders in Dodowa, Accra, Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe spoke to journalists, cautioning Ghanaians to approach infrastructural developments initiated in election years with vigilance.
She emphasized the potential for such projects to be perceived as political ploys rather than genuine commitments to community development, urging citizens to be discerning in evaluating government initiatives during this period.
