Dr. Cadman Mills, the brother of the late President John Evans Atta-Mills, has addressed the maternal family’s request for the autopsy report, 11 years post his demise.
In a tweet, Dr. Mills directed the legitimate family to obtain a copy from the 37 Military Hospital, stating they could use it as they pleased.
He dismissed the request as “stale news,” emphasizing that a family representative was present during the original autopsy.
During a visit to President Nana Addo at the Jubilee House, Nana Enyimfua III, Kyedomhemaa of Ekumfi Asaman, expressed concerns about not receiving the autopsy report in the 11 years since the late President’s passing.
She urged the presidency to release the report for the family’s benefit, highlighting the lack of information on the cause of death.
The President acknowledged the legitimacy of the family’s demand, emphasizing the importance of having the autopsy report as part of official documentation and public records.
