The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) will continue to have further engagements with the minister of finance and cabinet on the need for some of the taxes approved in the 2024 budget to be reviewed.
This is to ensure that industries are not overburdened with taxes as the economy is showing signs of recovery.
Chief Executive Officer of the AGI Seth Twum Akwaboah hinted that some specific taxes in the budget could have been more targeted rather than generalized.
