Greater Accra Regional Zongo Caucus Coordinator of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Hon Ismaila Horoya Ali has indicated that the current administration under President Akufo-Addo and Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has failed woefully when it comes to Zongo development.
According to him, they have performed so abysmal that even the Zongo ministry initiated by them after the 2016 elections has been scraped out after the 2020 elections.
Speaking to @Ahotoronline.com, he said the candidature of the Vice President in the 2024 general elections won’t change anything when it comes to voting in the Zongo communities.
Hon Ismaila Ali said the vice president failed to state why the Zongo ministry was scaped but still sees himself as one of them and now asking for their vote to win elections.
He called on all zongos to come out in their numbers come December 7 and vote against Dr. Bawumia and the NPP for failing them in development for 8 years in power.
Though John Mahama is a Christian he has done a lot for Zongos during his tenure in office, Ismaila Ali has said.
He emphasized that Dr Bawumia will not get more than 15% in Zongo after the 2024 general elections.
