Ghanaian footballers displayed outstanding performance for their respective clubs over the weekend.

ENGLAND

High-flying Mohammed Kudus stared for West Ham United as he netted a first-half brace for the hammers in their comprehensive 3 -0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

English-born Ghanaian, Kobbie Boateng Mainoo was superb in midfield for Manchester United who secured mood lifting 0 – 0 draw game at Anfield.

Another English-born Ghanaian Jarell Amorin Quansah warmed the bench for Liverpool.

Jeffery Schlupp lasted 81 minutes for Crystal Palace who held Manchester City to a 2-2 draw at the Etihad.

Jordan Ayew missed the game through suspension.

ITALY

In Serie A, Italian-born Ghanaian international Caleb Ekuban came off the bench to provide the all-important assist for Genoa who snatched a vital point against the big boys Juventus on Friday night.

FRANCE

Ernest Nuamah lasted 83 minutes for Lyon who recorded back-to-back victory for the first time this season following their 1- 0 win over Mohammed Salifu’s AS Monaco.

Abdul Salis Samed was instrumental for Lens as they posted a 2 – 0 victory over Stade Reims.

SPAIN

In La Liga, Iddrisu Baba was introduced in the second half for struggling Almeria who are still bottom of the league standings following their goalless draw against his parent club Mallorca.

Ghanaian forward Inaki Williams was impressive for Athletic Bilbao in their 2- 0 hard-fought victory over Atletico Madrid.

His Junior brother Nico Williams was part of the goal scorers.

Defender Abdul Mumin saw 90 minutes of action for Rayo Vallecano who slipped to a 1 – 0 defeat against Osasuna.

BELGIUM

Red-hot Joseph Paintsil found the back of the net twice for KRC Genk who cruised to a 4- 0 comfortable win at Kortrijk.

Teammate Christopher Bonsu Baah was a second-half substitute.

Isaac Nuhu featured the entire period for AS Eupen who slipped to a 2 – 0 defeat at Westerlo.

CZECH

In the Czech Liga, Ghana defender Patrick Kpozo registered an assist for Banik Ostrava who succumbed to a 3 – 2 loss against Slavia Prague.

GREECE

In the Greece Super League 1, Abdul Baba Rahman returned to the PAOK starting line-up as they recorded a 4 – 1 away big win over Asteras Tripolis.

PORTUGAL

Emmanuel Boateng scored the leveler for Rio Ave as they shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Vizela.
