She made such a statement to dispute Hilda Baci’s comment that Ghanaian jollof lacks flavour. She
Yvonne spoke about how much she would miss the people of Ghana for their hospitality, including the Jollof.
She said, “I will miss the people; Ghanaians are so hospitable. I will miss the jollof.” Commenting on Hilda’s statement, she said “I don’t know why she said it was flavourless. It’s not flavourless, let’s start from there.
Maybe it also depends on the chef that made it for her because I feel like the first time I had jollof here, I didn’t like it but this time that I came and had jollof, for me to take packs back to Nigeria, you should know what it means.”
Who is Yvonne Godswill?
Yvonne became a well-known participant in the hit reality TV program Big Brother Titans, which aired in 2023.
She has participated in several projects and efforts outside of that. She was born in October 1995 in Nigeria. Talking about her university days, she revealed she was expelled from the university in her third year and according to her, she went through a trying time in her life.
After her expulsion, she had to retake the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination and apply to another university, essentially starting her academic journey from scratch.
She has collaborated with renowned brands like Maison Francis Kurkdjian and Urban Vibes London.
