Emmanuel Gyasi is excited to be back at full training With Empoli
Ghana forward Emmanuel Gyasi has expressed his delight to be back at training with Empoli.
His return to full fitness is a huge boost for Coach Aurelio Andreazzoli’s men who are preparing for their weekend trip to Lecce.
Gyasi watched from the Empoli bench as his side held Genoa to a 1-1 draw game at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris due to a slight knock he picked at training ahead of the fixture.
“It feels great to be back at training with my teammates, I feel good and ready for our game against Lecce,” Gyasi told Ahotor 92.3 FM.
“I trained just once the whole of last week because I had picked a slight knock “.
The former Spezia captain has overcome his slow start to the season and has become one of the key figures in the current squad.
The Palermo-born Ghanaian has scored 1 goal, with 1 assist in 10 appearances.
