The chief and residents of Jura Enyinase in the Western Region are calling on the government to fix the Bogoso and Goaso roads which have become a death trap.
According to residents and drivers, due to the deplorable nature of the road, they are always at the mercy of armed robbers and most importantly, patients more often lose their lives because lorries can’t ply the road to reach the hospital on time when the need arises.
They also lamented as to why there are stone quarry sites in their municipality but contractors use the stones to fix the Tarkwa road but not theirs.
They called on the government if nothing is done about their plight, they will advise themselves in the 2024 general elections.
The chief of the area, Nana Addei Barley called on the government to come to their aid or else they should forget the 2024 elections in his constituencies.
