Evelyn Badu Sweeps Top Awards in Norway

Ghana midfielder Evelyn Badu has won Avaldsnes Toppfootball Best Player of the Season and Players Player of the 2023 season in Norway.

The former Hasaacas Ladies midfielder featured 25 times, scoring two goals for the Norwegian top-flight side.

Badu’s outstanding performance helped Avaldsnes to a play-off finish after they racked up 21 points from 27 games.

The 20-year-old took to Facebook to express her excitement about the news.

“I am immensely grateful for this award, Being recognized for my hard work and dedication means the world to me.”

” This motivates me to work even harder towards achieving my goals. Thank you for this incredible honor”. She added.

The Black Queens midfielder joined the Norwegian giants in 2021 signing two-and-a-half-year contracts until 2024.
