The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is full of deceptive and lairs in all their campaigns promise in the past seven years; especially with the habour and airport construction projects to the people of the Central Region. It’s very pathetic and unfortunate leaders cannot be trusted in all their political promises as the assume office after election to govern.
The Cape Coast South Constituency Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) George Justice Arthur said this on the Simpieso political show on Ahotor 92.3 FM hosted by Emmanuel Amartey (Alaska De Don).
He said the flag bearer of the NPP Dr. Bawumia and the President Nana Akufo-Addo by using the highest office of the land to lair to the people of central region is very bizarre and unfortunate.
George Justice Arthur said these two leaders have desecrated the highest of the land by not speaking to the truth on issues that has to do with leadership and governance.
He reiterated that, the internal wrangling going on in the party boils down to mistrust and corruption. The strong stiffness by the leadership of the party to sacked Hopeson Adorye, Yaw Buaben Asamoa, Nana Ohene Ntow, and Boniface Abubakar Saddique are no longer members of the party after they publicly endorsed and campaigned for Alan Kyerematen, is an attempt to protect Dr. Bawumia to cover up for corruption cases of his boss Nana Akufo-Addo.
Going forward an attempt to stop Kwadwo Alan Kyerematen movement to grow as a third force is not going to work rather, is the NPP that’s going to suffer.
Speaking on the same platform, Ahmed Agbenyadzi, Akuapem North Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) said the NPP as a party is really in a mess.
How justify is the decision to suspend the four officers. The party constitution is just been used to benefits some people in the party.
The national executives cannot be trusted, since all this action is taken to protect the candidature of Dr. Bawumia and to cover for the president.
He called on the members of the National Democratic Congress to learn from this mistakes and work hard to win power for John Dramani Mahamah in the 2024 presidential elections.
