National Vice Chairman of National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon Dr. Samuel Sarpong has indicated that, the Ashanti region benefited 13 community day school blocks under the leadership of Former president John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking to the facts and records on education in the region, indicating the areas that such blocks can be found in the region, he mentioned, Obuasi, Bosomtwe, Adansi north, Adansi south, Sekyere Afram Plains, Atwima Mponua, Sekyeredumasi, Ahafo Ano north, Asokore Mampong, Asante Akyem, etc.
According to Dr. Sarpong, most of the infrastructural developments in the various schools in the region were done by the NDC administration.
Speaking to Kumasi based radio monitored by @Onokwafo Yaw Asiedu, the former Ashanti regional minister called on his fellow Ashantis to have trust in the NDC and know that it’s the NDC that gives them development when they are in power.
He said the 2024 elections will bring more development in the Ashanti region should the NDC win power again.
The man who delivered most of the infrastructural projects in the Ashanti region under the erstwhile NDC administration, John Dramani Mahama stands in again to contest the presidential slot under the umbrella party to rescue the good people of Ashanti and Ghana in the 2024 general elections.
