Let’s maintain peace on election day – Citizen Nana Obrempong

The Tema West Constituency Secretary Citizen Nana Obrempong has said there is a need for all New Patriotic Party delegates to be circumspect in all activities on the voting day for presidential primaries devoid of any factional support group’s violence on the voting day.


The day is purposely meant for all delegates to respect law and order and allow the police to maintain a peaceful atmosphere to elect our flag bearer to get ready to break the eight.


Citizen Nana Obrempong, said this on Adekye Mu Nsem on Ahotor 92.3 FM in Accra and hosted by Citizen Kofi Owusu in Accra.


He said all is set for the November 4th Presidential Primaries, which he said has to do with arrangements from the Electoral Commissioner, the party election committee and the police will work to create a friendly environment for a peaceful election from casting of votes to declaration after closing of polls.


Citizen Nana Obrempong appeals to all party faithful to respect the rules and laws governing the polls to avoid any internal violence from different candidates’ supporters on election day.


He reaffirms that, breaking the eight is possible, and any candidate that emerges as a winner from the polls tomorrow with the party support it’s possible to break the eight.
