It was a sweet revenge for Hearts of oak – Coach Evans Adotey

The head coach of league title holders Medeama SC, Coach Evans Adotey has acknowledged that Hearts of Oak defeat was a sweet revenge for the humiliation given to them last season.

In a post-match interview, Coach Evans Adotey emphasized that he knew the match was going to be very difficult because of the humiliation they gave them that season.

“Before i came into this game , i knew definitely friends of Hearts, Hearts of Oak, the club itself will want to revenge because of last season ,I knew and looking at the position of the club, this is the first time of Hearts is winning a match so i knew it wasn’t going to be easy for me and thats exactly what happened.”

” Although i didn’t start the game well ,three goals in first half and coming back to hold onto the 3:1 to the final whistle, if l had started the game well , it won’t have been this scoreline.” – he added

Accra Hearts of Oak defeated Medeama SC 3 : 1 in the matchday 8 in the ongoing Betpawa Premier league.
