One strategic signing is making the difference for West Ham United – Kurt Zouma.

West Ham United defender Kurt Zouma has highlighted how one new signing in particular has made a huge difference already for West Ham United.

Kurt Zouma has played a key role in West Ham’s fine start of the 2023/24 season, both domestically and on the continent.

Speaking to the club’s official website about the Hammers’ start to the season, Kurt Zouma emphasized on the big difference between West Ham’s form this season and last season .

“Last year, it was different because we had a lot of new players who came at the same time who were new to the Premier League, but this year we have players, for example James Ward-Prowse, who know the Premier League very well. He’s been an outstanding player for Southampton who knew how the game was played before he came here.”

West Ham  boss David Moyes will be delighted with the way in which his new club captain has been playing, but he’s not the only one who has been in superb form for us.

Summer signing James Ward-Prowse has been absolutely exceptional for West Ham since moving to the London Stadium from Southampton for £30 million.

James Ward-Prowse has bagged two goals and six assists in just nine games for the Hammers this season and his leadership skills and elite mentality have made a huge difference for West Ham United.

The comments from Kurt Zouma on Ward-Prowse were the biggest compliment that the West Ham star could receive. He is an exceptional footballer and has changed us completely as a team since arriving in East London.
