Head coach of Dreams FC, Karim Zito has acknowledged the massive contribution and impact of the experienced striker John Antwi in their quest to reached to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
In an interview after the victory, Coach Karim Zito commend the team and heaped praises on the workaholic striker John Antwi and his massive contribution to the team especially with his rich experience on the African football terrain.
“John Antwi has been key for us in our African campaign, look at his wealth of experience, it was visible for all. Indeed, John Antwi boasts an impressive resume, having played for prestigious clubs such as Al Ahly and Pyramids FC in Egypt, Whenever he had the ball, you’d see opponents surround him in their numbers.This recognition of Antwi’s prowess as a player demonstrates the fear he instills in opposing teams, making him a formidable force on the pitch. He managed his teammates very well, and they were all willing to learn from him, which benefited the team.”
Dreams FC ploy into the CAF Confederation Cup group stage during their maiden appearance in the continental club competition.
Dreams FC secured a place after gaining a 3-1 aggregate win over FC Kallon of Sierra Leone.
