The Chief Executive Officer, of the National Blood Service, Mr. Owusufosu has announced that since the setup of the National Blood Service, they have not for one’s met their target despite the talk and effort they put into creating awareness for voluntary donors.
‘’Every year we aim at getting at least 330 thousand donors but it never happens so ‘’
She said this affects healthcare delivery nationwide for patients who are in need of blood, especially during emergencies.
She calls for help from individuals and groups to achieve the target.
