We are very confident and focus on the upcoming season – Coach Yusif Basigi

The head coach of Hasaacas Ladies Football Club ,Yusif Basigi is optimistic his team will perform better than what they did last season.

In an interview with another platform , Coach Basigi emphasized that they are fully prepared and focus ahead of the 2023-24 Malta Guinness Ghana Women’s Premier League season.

“Those who played last year, many of them were Division One players and they managed to get to that level and now they played a season meaning that they’ve gained experience and I’ve also augmented the team with Premier division players.That is why I am very much hopeful we are going to perform better than last season.”

Hasaacas Ladies are scheduled to take on Sea Lions in the opening game of the new season after missing out on the league title to Ampem Darkoa Ladies for the second year in a row.

Ampem Darkoa beat Hasaacas to win the FA Cup and league titles.

2023-24 Malta Guinness Ghana Women’s Premier League commences from the weekend of October 31 to November 2.
