Hearts of oak showed class and deserved the victory – Coach Maxwell Konadu
The head coach of Nsoatreman FC Maxwell Konadu has acknowledged that Hearts of Oak really played well and deserved the win over his side in the Betpawa Premier League .
In a post match interview, Coach Maxwell Konadu admitted that his opponent were technically compact and tactically a better side after we had a red card .
“Good game. Very difficult one. We had red card and we brought in fresh legs to augment the squad. It was a good game for Hearts. You can’t take anything away from them. They deserved to win , we did our best but wasn’t just enough. We were not pushing hard enough. Hearts were keeping the ball and that didn’t help us with our rhythm. We have a lot to do especially with the away games. Going forward we will try to get the results away from home this season.”
Congolese forward Kashala Ramos Wanet scored the decisive goal with a close-range finish just four minutes into the game.
Coach Maxwell Konadu lost to the Phobians for the first time in his coaching career.
Nsoatreman FC lost 1:0 to Accra Hearts of Oak at Accra Sports Stadium on the match day 2 of the Betpawa Premier League 2023-24 season.
