President Akufo-Addo’s profound statement; be citizens not spectators comment has been downgraded by security analyst Adib Sanni as mere political talk.
According to Mr. Sanni, the president is a victim of the mess going on in the country.
“Akufo-Addo never meant that comment, am telling you we are practicing a culture of silence under this government, I lost my job for sharing my opinion on a national issue which they presume was making the government unpopular,” he said.
He continued “I was summoned by a higher authority and in the case of Domelevo l said that anyone who fights Domelevo for fighting corruption in Ghana is not a true son of the land. He reiterated that l was informed that, there was an order from above to take action against me because I am making the government unpopular”
Security analyst Mr. Adib Saani says what happened at the #OccupyJulorBiHouse demonstration where protestors were harassed by the police is Ghana’s day of shame.
According to him, the security services should be loyal to the people, not a political party or a government “No power can be compared to the power of the people” he said.
