For the first time in our history, the presidency has been part of the corruption index – Bernard Mornah

Former Chairman of People’s National Convention (PNC) Bernard Mornah has indicated that, for the first time in the history of Ghana, the presidency has been part of the corruption index.
According to him, there have been claims that people have the president in their pockets.
Speaking in an interview monitored by Onokwafo Yaw Asiedu of Ahotoronline.com, Mr Mornah said the president should his taking of brown envelopes because all the people around him know that the president is too close to money. Anytime he sees money his fingers begin to ich.
He said these comments around the leader are not healthy and must be talked about for him to do the right thing.
Bernard Mornah built his allegations on the happenings from the recent videos that have been circulating from the camp of Aljazeera, Daniel Bugri Naabu, deputy chief of staff at the presidency, etc.
He indicated that all the time’s corruption index has been taken from institutions excluding the presidency but now under the leadership of President Nana Addo, the presidency has been included.
