Football Enthusiast trilled as Ahotor FM telecasts live match

Yesterday Wednesday 12th April,2017 was a thrilling memory on Ahotor FM as the premise was filled with football enthusiast including the die hard Real Madrid fans a little of the Bayern Munich supporters. At heart and dominating the crowd were some anti Madrid supporters posing the ”against” nature towards the Real Madrid supports.

Two second-half goals from Cristiano Ronaldo lifted Real Madrid to a fantastic 2-1 win at Bayern Munich on Wednesday in the Champions League quarterfinal first leg, giving the reigning champs a brilliant result to take back to Spain while ending Bayern’s 30-match home unbeaten record.

After Arturo Vidal opened the scoring in the first half for Bayern, Ronaldo scored early in the second before the hosts were reduced to 10 men on Javi Martinez’s second yellow card. Then 13 minutes from full time, Ronaldo scored on a nutmeg of Manuel Neuer to make it 2-1. The loss snaps Bayern’s streak of 16 straight wins at home in UCL. Bayern also missed a penalty kick in the first half, with Vidal sending the ball over the goal.

Amidst an unabated chanting of support by Bayern and the Anti Real madrid (Barcelonians) in the crowd at Ahotor fm, Vidal, the Chilean international, got Bayern on the board 25 minutes in with a header off a corner kick

Then a hand ball on Dani Carvajal gave Bayern a penalty kick, which the Chilean played horribly leaving the entire Bayern munchen crowed in dispair

At the start of the second half, Real looked for a quick strike and got a goal thanks to their  Star player:

Real was not  done as the Spanish giants pushed for more and tested Neuer time and time again. And finally, the breakthrough came in the 77th minute from Marco Asensio whipping it around the back and finds Ronaldo perfectly. Golazo. And with that, a huge 2-1 win for Real on the road. A 1-1 result would have been fine  for Madrid.

As for Bayern, the team struggled without the injured Robert Lewandowski and going down to 10 men certainly didn’t help. Now the team will have to head to Spain knowing it needs at least two goals to have a chance.

The second leg will be next Tuesday in Madrid.
