AFCON U-23: Emmanuel Yeboah apologises to Ghanaians for failure to qualify for Olympics Games.
Black Meteors striker, Emmanuel Yeboah has sent a heart felt apologies to Ghanaians for their failure to qualify to Olympics in the ongoing Afcon U-23.
Speaking after the exit from the tournament, Emmanuel Yeboah expressed that the entire team has disappointed Ghanaians and appealled to them for forgiveness.
“I will first of all give glory to God and its wealth it given thanks to God in all situations, I will also apologies to Ghanaians for disappointing them not to qualify to Olympics next year. We came into the tournament to this tournament to qualify, started well, lost our second game but motivated ourselves to win the ladt game but drew the last game which was not enough to seek qualifications. Our wishes and desires didn’t come to pass.”
The formidable striker exhibited great performance as an individual but failed as a team in the tournament which led the team to exit in the group stage.
Emmanuel Yeboah scored 3 goals and provided 3 assist in the tournament.
