Licensure exam is a perfect measure to get the right people into our classrooms to teach – Kofi Asare
The Executive Director of the African Education Watch Kofi Asare says, the measures put in place by the National Teaching Council for teachers to write the licensure exam after their training is a decision in the right direction.
According to him, the measure is to ensure that we get the right persons into our classrooms not chaffs.
Mr. Asare said people are desperate and will do anything to have employment, hence the need for the licensure exams.
This comes after a 6,451(83.5%) out of 7,728 had failed the Ghana teacher licensure Exam as reported by the National Teaching Council.
