Nigerian celebrity singer, Davido took to social media, on 18th June 2023 to share his anguish over the loss of his first son, Ifeanyi, who passed away in 2017.
He shared on social media, the difficulty that he is going through as we celebrate Father’s Day yesterday.
He wrote; “Every year, my kids send me warm messages thanking me for being a great father, But this year, it falls short of one letter from my first son, Ifeanyi.”
“Just when I thought I was healing, this Father’s Day has revealed to me that my wounds are still fresh,” he wrote. “Some days will be like this. Water full my eyes but I’ll be alright.”
But still thank God for giving him, the strength to get through the pain of losing a son.
He lost the son that he had with Chiamo . Ifeanyi died in a drowning accident at the age of three. But has five other children.
