MTN FA Cup: Dreams FC defeats King Faisal to win the final at Abrankese.
Dreams FC made history by winning the title of the MTN FA Cup 2022/23 for the first time since the establishment of the club.
The historic achievement came after Dreams FC secured a convincing 2:0 win over Kumasi-based King Faisal at the Dr. Kwame Kyei sports complex.
The game had a very good tempo with both sides playing with intensity and looking to get into attacking positions.
Abdul Aziz Issah broke the deadlock in the 20th minute and Sadiq Alhassan doubled the lead in favor of Dreams FC.
Dreams FC’s victory as MTN FA Cup champions has earned them the opportunity to represent Ghana in the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup.
