Hafiz Konkoni is a fantastic player that I enjoyed watching- Chris Hughton
The head coach of the Ghana black stars, Chris Hughton has expressed confidence in the only invited local player Hafiz Konkoni.
In an interview, Chris Hughton explained that he has enjoyed watching him in the league and also watched his videos but he needs more time to watch the league.
“I was fortunate to watch him live in the league and also watch him in videos. I think he did well today at training .it wasn’t surprising because he is a player I enjoyed watching him. He is a young player,s o I think he has a lot of development still. Speaking to him, I think he is quite a mature player for his age.”
Bechem United striker received a late call-up to join the black stars ahead of the upcoming Afcon qualifiers against Madagascar.
Hafiz Konkoni scored 15 goals in the just-ended Betpawa premier league and exhibited a splendid performance for Bechem United.
