The love and passion for football is strong and our GPL is alive – GFA president
The president of the Ghana Football Association, Mr Kurt Simon Okraku has expressed confidence in the GPL and assured fans of improvements in the coming seasons.
In an interview after witnessing the climax of crowning champions Medeama SC and the overwhelming supporters, he emphasized that Medeama is a worthy winner of the league and Ghana football is alive.
“Unbelievable, beyond my expectation, we have given a firm statement that we have the passion for our sports, we love the love for our GPL and our GPL is alive.”
“We should trust the process, all of us should trust the process and believe in the process, what we have seen this season has been an amazing journey, a season that enables us to enjoy football at the highest level of quality and on the final day everybody sat on tenterhooks till the last minutes of the game. Ghana football is alive.”- he added
Medeama SC has been crowned champions of the just-ended Ghana Premier League 2022/23 season.
