Very disappointed and painful defeat but pleased with the performance – Ibrahim Tanko
The head coach of Accra Lions, Ibrahim Tanko has expressed his displeasure about the defeat against Kumasi Asante Kotoko but is satisfied with the performance of his team.
In an interview, coach Tanko emphasized that he was satisfied with the performance of his team although they lost the match painfully.
“Very disappointed and very painful defeat but am proud of the boy’s performance. we still have a chance, we have one more game to play, so we are going to work on it. we have a very young team and will experience such.”
” The performance of the team keeps on improving match after match, especially in the last four matches. So will go and do our homework well against Bibiani Gold Stars and hopefully get our points there.”
Accra Lions have lost four games and won one in their last five games.
Accra Lions lie in 13th position with 44 points after 33 games played and will travel to Bibiani to play their last match against Bibiani Gold Stars.
