The Tema East Constituency NDC has embarked on a Unity Walk to bring peace to the constituency ahead of the 2024 elections.
The walk which was led by the Member of Parliament for the area Isaac Ashai Odamtten was graced by some dignitaries such as the Kpone-Katamanso MP Joseph Tettey (Joe T), the former mayor of Tema who is the current NDC constituency chairman for Tema East Kempes Ofosuware and a Parliamentary Candidate hopeful Nii Abbey.
Large crowd showed up for the walk which the NDC colours and music was all over the place.
They walked from Tema Newton to the busy streets of Tema community 1 before coming back to Newtown for Hon. Ashai to deliver his message.
Hon. Ashai assured his promise to serve the people of Tema East hence the need to maintain him as the MP in the 2024 elections.
He also urged the people to vote for John Dramani Mahama for a better Ghana.
