Awutu A has been crowned champions of the just-ended Water Polo league in Ghana.
The defending champions who were the 1st edition of the Ghana Waterpolo league defended their trophy after a narrow victory over their arch-rival Accra A.
The two teams met at the finals as a result of defeating the opponent convincingly in the semi-final matches.
Awutu A and Accra A had the same scores from the first Quarter to the third Quarter and the tire was broken in the 4th Quarter where Awutu A beat the opponent 3: 2 to gain a total of 9 goals to 8 in favour of the defending champions.
Late Bosomtwe secured the third position after beating the opponent Awutu B by a huge scoreline margin.
A total of twelve polo teams participated in the second edition of the water polo league in Ghana.
