According to Ghanaian gospel musician, Ernest Opoku, most people, particularly Ghanaians, expect so much from Gospel musicians that any minor mistake they make causes the audience to crucify them as if they are angels who can never go wrong.
He made this declaration while discussing some issues and unexpected events surrounding him in the music industry, including his delayed relationship with actress Nayas
In an interview with Sompa FM, the amazing singer emphasized unequivocally that people should stop condemning them because they are also humans, not superhumans as many believe. He asked Ghanaians not to criticize people like him in all they do because they are all humans.
“The problem with most Africans is that they see we Gospel musicians as Angels but that is not true, we are just like any other person, of course, we are humans”, he stressed.
