National Debt Stock hits GHC600 Billion – Asiedu Nketiah

The National Chairman for the NDC Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has reveal that the NPP government led by President Akufo Addo and veep Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia have borrowed to the tune of about Ghc600 billion without any exhibition of projects to accounts for in the last 6 years.

The chairman of the NDC made the statement at University of Professional Studies ( UPSA) on Monday.

The NDC has been on the neck of the Government and President Akufo Addo since the presentation of the State of the Nation Address on March 8 , 2023.

Mr. Nketiah during the Presentation of the True State of the Nation Address said the NPP led administration and Nana Addo should bow their heads down in shame over presiding on Economic Mess.

Government has come under criticisms by expert and academic scholars for the wanton dissipation of the national kitty in six years.

He said Ghanaians have the onus to kick the Government out from power during the next General Elections due to the abuse of scarce resources.

The NDC insist the NPP is full of empty sloganeering and boastful tendencies who only came into power to steal from the poor tax payer.

Johnson Asiedu Nketiah further noted that Ghanaians want a government who will show empathy and ready to rescue the Nation from economic conundrum.

He chastised government for making excuses with Covid 19 and the war in Ukraine and Russia. However he stress on the point that the NPP and its surrogate have develop appetite of giving flimsy explanations aim to asway the minds of the citizenry.

He said both the Government and the party of the NPP has lost reality with the people and called on Ghanaians to show them the exit from power in 2024.
