The General manager of the league leaders Aduana stars, Takyi Arhin has expressed that the club management should do proper recruitment in order to attract more supporters to various stadiums.
Speaking to the issue of why supporters are not coming to the stadium, he attributed some factors to the doorstep of the clubs, such that they are not recruiting enough quality players which supporters will troop to the stadium to watch.
” The Club must recruit quality and talented players. These days because of Shamo Quaye, and Joe Deborah, people are compelled to go to various Stadiums to watch them, today we have such players where one will say they are going to the stadium to watch, even Kotoko and Hearts. These are the things we need to do, proper recruitment and even if we have to pay them good wages for them to draw supporters to the stadiums”.
“If you notice any good or best player in the league, just one season he is over the borders, he is sold ” – he added
Takyi Arhin has been outspoken and is also worried about the poor attendance of the supporters even though his team Aduana stars are likely to win double trophies this season via the Betpawa Premier League and Mtn FA cup.
