Over 800 individuals have picked up nomination forms to contest for various parliamentary seats across the country on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming primaries.
The aspirants who have picked up the forms are expected to file their nomination forms from March 20, 2023.
In the Suhum Constituency of the Eastern Region, Parliamentary Candidate Hopeful Rev. James Ofoe Batsa is confident of winning the primaries to represent the people of Suhum to help make the dream of the NDC winning the 2024 general elections a reality.
Speaking on Ahotor 92.3 Fm’s morning show ‘Ade Kyi Mu Nsem‘, Rev. Batsa said the first person who won the Suhum seat for the NDC was Hon. Solomon Akuetey and he Rev. Batsa carries the same qualities as the former MP for the area so delegates needs to give him chance to lead the party in the constituency.
Rev. James Ofoe Batsa told Citizen Kofi Owusu that he stands tall among the other 6 candidates contesting him and he is known in Suhum and its environs so he is the best candidate to lead the NDC in the constituency to bring victory to the party.
He promised that when elected, he will make sure the welfare of his constituents will be his priority.
