Greater Accra Regional Communication Member and the Vice Chairman of the NDC in the Ada Constituency Kenneth Kabu Kanor has refuted suggestions that the John Mahama administration left behind an economic mess when it lost power to President Akufo-Addo’s New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, stated during his speech on the Independence day at that the Mahama’s administration left Ghana’s economy in a mess.
Speaking on Ahotor 92.3 Fm, Mr. Kabu stated that the NPP has persistently lied to the people of Ghana and the world that they inherited an economic crisis from the NDC government in 2017.
In setting the record straight, the NDC communicator argued that in the area of energy, apart from solving dumsor, the NDC also set up a Fund to deal with the sector’s debts.
He mentioned somethings the NDC left for the NPP when leaving power in 2017.
