Black Stars’ Prince Adu Kwabena Nets Again as Viktoria Plzen Edge Mlada Boleslav

Ghanaian striker Prince Kwabena Adu has continued his impressive scoring streak, netting his sixth goal in 16 league appearances for Viktoria Plzen in their 2-1 win over FK Mlada Boleslav in the Czech Fortuna Liga.

Adu opened the scoring just after halftime, capitalizing on a precise pass from Liberian midfielder Sampson Dweh to slot home. Nigerian forward Rafiu Durosinmi sealed the win for Plzen with a 82nd-minute strike, following a well-worked move initiated by Matej Vydra.

Despite a late consolation goal from Matyas Vojta, Plzen held on to secure the three points. Adu’s goal tally now stands at six in 16 league appearances, highlighting his growing impact on the Plzen attack.

This impressive club form comes on the heels of his Ghana debut earlier this month, where he featured in friendly matches against Japan and South Korea. With confidence soaring, Adu is emerging as one of Ghana’s most promising young forwards, poised to make a mark at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
