C.K. Akonnor was not a leader during his era as Black Stars coach – Dr Nyaho Tamakloe claims.

The ex-president of Ghana’s Football Association, Dr Nyaho Tamaklo has expressed that the former coach of the black stars C.K Akonnor never possessed the qualities of a good leader during his era as the head coach of the black stars.

Speaking On the recent appointment of Chris Hughton as the head coach of the black stars,  he said the ex-indigenous coach,  C.K Akonnor had all the advantages but he was not a leader and not strong for the position.

” I think C.K Akonnor was not a leader and was not strong,  if you are a good leader and you have been brought up in a culture saying  “NO” on principle or going to the extent of resigning no matter what will cost you,  he should have resigned long ago before he was fired.”

”He was denied pay, he said nothing even if he complained, he was denied official residence, and he was denied a car, I mean that can not be done to anybody who has been brought up in a culture of resignation, So he should not complain at all “.

Dr Nyako Tamaklo is still a board member of Accra Hearts of Oak and has Ghana football at heart.

Dr Nyako Tamaklo is very vibrant when it comes to issues of national teams and some principles of current Football Association Activities.
