“The Police Administration hasn’t come to say anything about Techiman South killings”- Opare Addo

The National Organiser of the NDC George Opare Addo has express disgust and pain over the inability of the Ghana Police Service to bring perppetuators of the Techiman killings to book.

He said this on the back of the arrest of the NDC Youth Organizer for suame constituency who was picked by the police for inciting some party youths to unleashed violence on the NPP during the 2024 polls.

Mr. Opare Addo whilst commenting on the issue on Wednesday on Ahotor Fm breakfast show. He lamented on the selectivity of the police regarding their recent conduct and relationship with the NDC and stated that the police are abusing their powers on arbitrary note.

He cited the Techiman South killings during 2020 polls and noted no arrest has been made so far and that smacks of hypocrisy.

He also added his voice to the DDEP and said government and President Akufo Addo have prove to Ghanaians that they are insensitive towards the plight of the ordinary Ghanaian whose bond and investment with government is being undersiege.

He said until you have the name Addo prefix to your name , government doesn’t regard you as a Ghanaian and stakeholder in government.
