Ghanaian sensational gospel musician, Mrs. Ruth Bennywood also known as Abena Ruthy is out with her new single, ‘Homhom kronkrom’ (Holy Spirit).
She was on Ahotor FM’s midmorning Show ‘‘Ahotor mmre’’ as part of her promotional tour activities.
She disclosed to the host of the Ahotor Mmre, Obaapa Janee that, the song is a revelation during one of her prayer sections for God’s direction.
According to her, ‘‘the song was birthed through prayer’.
She was however quick to add that, ‘my pastor asked me what I was doing next in my music career, so I decided to seek God’s face to know what to do next.”
”I spent time praying and the song started coming like that, word for word. This song will help us when we want to seek God’s face, and I hope this will help to pray and also seeks God’s face always.’, she said.
She had this advice for the young and upcoming gospel artists:
”To the new musicians, we have the right way to do things; you can’t just wake up and become big, or be like those you came to meet. Please don’t rush to be like those who are already in it, she advised.
‘‘It takes time and patience to be on top. So take your time and do the right things. And you will get there.’’
Abena Ruthy urged her followers to go on all digital platforms for the songs.
